Justin G. Tilghman, PhD
Dr. Justin Tilghman (PhD, Columbia International University; MTS, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary) is an author and professor in eastern North Carolina. His research interests involve the intersections of theology, philosophy, sociology, and psychology to inform ones approach to leadership. He serves as professor of leadership and biblical studies at Carolina College of Biblical Studies and is an adjunct faculty member at Liberty University. In addition to his academic work, he serves on the board of directors for Hope Preparatory School and on the board of elders at Grace Fellowship Church. He teaches courses on biblical/theological studies, leadership development, evangelism, and world missions around the area. His written work has been featured on multiple online platforms to include: Blogos, GotQuestions.org, and Rooted Ministry.
Dr. Tilghman has authored, co-authored, and reviewed textbooks, articles, and popular-level work in the areas of education, leadership, and theology. He also serves as an expert reviewer for various academic leadership journals.
Dr. Tilghman is a member of several organizations focused on education, leadership, theology, and philosophy including the Association for the Study of Higher Education, the Evangelical Theological Society, and the Evangelical Philosophical Society.

He lives in eastern North Carolina with his wife and their two sons.
Dr. Tilghman is in agreement with the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith.
As an elder at Grace Fellowship Church, he also adhered to the doctrines outlined in the church’s doctrinal statement.
